We are committed to growing this program so that the success and professional achievements of our former students is fostered in today's generation of engineers and computer scientists. We invite you to visit our site to find out what opportunities are available for you to explore.
The Multicultural Programs for Engineering Sciences and Allied Health Sciences/Nursing (MEP) is open to all students. It has been designed to focus on assisting underrepresented populations, such as African-American, Hispanic, Native American, and women students to pursue an education in the disciplines of engineering and computer science. The program provides a wide range of student services including academic advising, tutoring, personal counseling, and assistance in finding summer and part-time jobs within the engineering and computer science industries. MEP sponsors local student chapters of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE).
