The Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering is pleased to announce that the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) has received the CSUN UNLV Student Organization of the Month Award for the month of October 2009.
They received the award for a variety of reasons. One of the most recent achievements was their coordination and sponsorship of a "New Beginnings" event held on campus. The multicultural New Beginnings event challenged 300 participants to excel academically while also becoming engaged in their campus community.
